SWEET WINE

Piemonte DOC Moscato Passito “18 Carati” is a sweet wine of remarkable charm and aromatic intensity, a refined expression of Piedmontese Moscato. Made exclusively from 100% Moscato grapes, harvested during the second ten days of September, it is crafted through a meticulous production process that enhances the grape variety’s natural aromatic richness.

After harvest, the grapes undergo a drying process on special racks for 60 to 70 days, depending on the characteristics of the vintage. This traditional method concentrates sugars and aromas, giving the wine greater structure and complexity. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, with the must separated from the skins through gentle manual pressing. A long fermentation follows, lasting approximately 25 to 30 days, allowing the wine to develop its intense and harmonious aromatic profile.

In the glass, it displays a bright amber-yellow color. The bouquet is rich and enveloping, revealing aromas reminiscent of chestnut honey, accompanied by notes of candied fruit. On the palate, it is sweet yet beautifully balanced, never cloying, with a pleasant softness that enhances its elegance.

It pairs particularly well with fresh and blue cheeses accompanied by tangy fruit preserves, while also complementing dry pastries and delicate desserts.

For the best tasting experience, serve at 10–12°C (50–54°F) to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity.
