RED WINE

Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC “I Marandon” is an elegant and well-structured red wine that authentically expresses the character of Nebbiolo grown in the hills of the Langhe and Roero regions. Made exclusively from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, harvested between late September and early October, it is crafted with great care to enhance the varietal qualities of one of Piedmont’s most noble grape varieties.

Vinification follows the traditional red wine method, with alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. During this process, the must remains in contact with the skins for an extended period, allowing for the full extraction of color, aromas, and structure. After malolactic fermentation and the removal of coarse lees, the wine is transferred to tonneaux, where it ages for 8–12 months, developing aromatic complexity, balance, and finesse. Following bottling, it undergoes a further 3–4 months of bottle aging, harmonizing its aromas before release.

In the glass, it displays a bright ruby-red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet reveals elegant aromas of red fruits, dried rose petals, and delicate spicy notes, complemented by subtle nuances derived from oak aging. On the palate, it is structured, harmonious, and persistent, with the firm yet refined tannins characteristic of Nebbiolo, supported by a pleasant freshness that enhances its drinkability.

It pairs beautifully with traditional Piedmontese dishes such as agnolotti del plin served with roast meat gravy, as well as substantial meat dishes including braised beef, roasted meats, and game. It is also an excellent companion to aged and flavorful cheeses.

For the best tasting experience, serve at 18–20°C (64–68°F) to fully appreciate its aromatic profile and structure.
