RED WINE

Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG “Il Fiore” is a Piedmontese red wine of remarkable character, expressing the essence of the Asti territory with elegance and authenticity. Made exclusively from 100% Barbera grapes, harvested between late September and early October, it is crafted through traditional winemaking methods that highlight both the varietal identity of the grape and the richness of the local terroir.

Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with extended skin maceration to extract color, aromas, and structure. After malolactic fermentation and the removal of coarse lees, the wine is transferred to 30- and 45-hectoliter oak casks, where it matures for 8–12 months, developing complexity and harmony. Following bottling, it undergoes an additional 2–3 months of bottle aging before release, completing its evolutionary journey.

In the glass, it displays a deep, bright ruby-red color. The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, complemented by delicate spicy notes and elegant nuances derived from oak aging. On the palate, it is structured, balanced, and persistent, with the characteristic freshness of Barbera providing vibrancy and excellent drinkability.

An ideal companion to red meat dishes such as roasts and traditional boiled meats, it also pairs beautifully with game and aged hard cheeses.

For the best tasting experience, serve at 18–20°C (64–68°F) to fully appreciate its aromas and structure.
