RED WINE

Grignolino d’Asti DOC “Spezia Nobile” is an elegant and delicate Piedmontese red wine, an authentic expression of the Asti hills and the winemaking tradition of Monferrato. Made exclusively from 100% Grignolino grapes, a historic native variety of the region, it is harvested between the second and third ten days of September, when the grapes reach the perfect balance between freshness and aromatic ripeness.

Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with a short to medium skin maceration designed to preserve the wine’s aromatic finesse and the characteristic lightness of the grape variety. The wine is drawn off the skins relatively early, and fermentation continues without the pomace, helping to maintain its fresh, fragrant, and approachable style. Aging takes place entirely in stainless steel, preserving the varietal characteristics and the purity of the fruit.

In the glass, it displays a light ruby-red color, sometimes showing delicate orange highlights. The bouquet offers subtle aromas of red berries, floral notes, and delicate spicy nuances that are typical of Grignolino. On the palate, it is fresh, dry, and harmonious, with fine tannins and excellent drinkability, making it an exceptionally versatile food wine.

Best enjoyed while young, it pairs beautifully with appetizers, lightly aged cured meats, and light pasta dishes. It is also an interesting match for fish dishes, where its freshness and aromatic finesse can be fully appreciated.

For the best tasting experience, serve at 18–20°C (64–68°F).
