RED WINE

Barolo DOCG is one of Piedmont’s greatest red wines, a symbol of elegance, depth, and longevity. Produced in the heart of the Langhe from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, this Barolo fully expresses the character of the prestigious Brunate cru, one of the most renowned historic vineyards within the appellation.

The grapes are harvested during the second ten days of October, when they have reached optimal ripeness. Vinification follows the traditional red wine method, with alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and extended skin maceration, a crucial process for extracting color, structure, and the complex aromatic profile that defines Nebbiolo.

After fermentation, the wine remains in stainless steel until the following summer before continuing its evolution through 24 months of aging in large 30–40 hectoliter oak casks. This extended maturation period allows the wine to develop finesse, balance, and remarkable aromatic complexity. Following bottling, the Barolo rests for an additional 2–3 months in bottle before being released.

In the glass, it displays a brilliant garnet-red color. The bouquet is broad and refined, revealing aromas of dried rose petals, ripe red fruits, spices, and delicate balsamic notes, enriched by evolving nuances reminiscent of tobacco and forest floor. On the palate, it is structured, harmonious, and persistent, with noble tannins and a long finish that reflects the greatness of Nebbiolo from the Langhe.

It pairs beautifully with rich traditional dishes such as agnolotti with roast meat gravy, red meat entrées, braised and roasted meats, game, and refined specialties such as eggs with truffle.

For the best tasting experience, serve at 18–20°C (64–68°F) to fully appreciate its complexity and structure.
