RED WINE

Barbera d’Asti DOCG “La Bimba” is a Piedmontese red wine that authentically expresses the vibrant character and signature freshness of the Barbera grape, a true symbol of the Asti region. Made exclusively from 100% Barbera grapes harvested in late September, it is produced through traditional winemaking methods that enhance the purity of the fruit and the varietal identity of the grape.

Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation occurs. During this process, the must remains in contact with the skins for a medium-length maceration, allowing the extraction of color, aromas, and structure. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is aged exclusively in stainless steel, a choice that preserves its freshness, aromatic intensity, and the lively character that defines Barbera.

In the glass, it displays a bright ruby-red color. The bouquet reveals intense aromas of fresh red fruits such as cherry and plum, accompanied by delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is balanced, fresh, and pleasantly fruity, with good structure and a harmonious persistence that invites another sip.

A perfect companion to traditional Piedmontese cuisine, it pairs beautifully with fresh pasta dishes such as ravioli and tajarin, grilled meats, cured meats, and medium-aged cheeses.

For the best tasting experience, serve at 18–20°C (64–68°F) to fully appreciate its aromatic and flavor profile.
